Weekend Pictures, Part 2







These are from the little town of Burford and the Cotswold Wildlife Park.

A peacock. I couldn't get it to spread its fan of feathers.
The smallest car in the world. Its name is remarkably a Messerschmidt, after the WWII fighter aircraft. We say it parked on the street, and while we were eating, the owner in the blue shirt came by. A couple of the students wanted to try the car, and he was nice enough to allow them to. The funniest with Andrew Busse, in the picture above, who is 6'8 or so. I don't think the roof/lid of the car would close for him. I have another picture of another student in the car when the roof is closed. The owner said that car can do about 55 or so, though he did manage to get it up to 70, once, on a motorway. Its three wheeled, and I will post a few more pics in a seperate post.
